Town of Highlands children who attended the Fort Montgomery Fire Department and Town of Highlands Police Department’s annual costume parade and Halloween party on Sunday probably slept really well that night! That’s because after close to a mile walk (escorted by police, fire and ambulance vehicles) they spent the next couple of hours playing games, eating candy and other snacks, enjoying a costume contest, crafts, and just having fun. The annual event gave adults a sneak-peek at some of the costumes they’ll see on Halloween night – be on the lookout for some good ones!
