Cornwall officials made the following comments about the Hasbrouck Drainage Project this week, as it is nearing completion. Work is scheduled to be finished by the end of November, a notice posted on the town website said.

For the weeks ahead, the following construction is anticipated: Oct. 26-30, Curtis Ct. / Sheldon Dr. / Robert Rd. intersection restoration; Nov. 2 -13, Robert Rd. pipe installation; Nov. 16-20, Union St. rebuild and paving; and Nov. 19-25, final restoration work.

Residents should expect intermittent road closures and construction vehicles/equipment occupying travel lanes throughout this period. Motorists are asked to use caution, follow directions from construction personnel, and yield as directed when traveling through the work zones.
