That holds the destiny of America.
It’s the hand that casts the ballot.”

New Windsor Fire Department held their Memorial service with Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, and “honored the men and women of the New Windsor Fire Department who we have lost throughout the years. Their dedication, sacrifice, and service helped build the department we are proud to be part of today. Though they may be gone, their legacy lives on in every member who continues to answer the call. Always remembered. Never forgotten.” A lovely brunch followed at the Fire House.
Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Patricia 195, collect supplies annually to be sent to our military overseas, and this year was a wonderful success at our beautiful Algonquin Park. The collection consisted of basic necessities which we, at home, take for granted. We don’t think of toothbrushes and toothpaste, combs and brushes, deodorants and lotions, body wash and soap, and a surprise sweet treat. We all have an obligation to support military families who are struggling to survive, and recognize the sacrifices made by the entire military family. God bless America, forever!
