‘Depth Perception’ highlights Slick’s paintings inspired by prehistoric monumentality and archaeological forms. A member of the International Society of Antiquaries, Slick bridges ancient narratives and contemporary art, using color, texture, and patterns to explore lithic shapes in abstract space. His work reinterprets Neolithic stone formations, emphasizing the interplay between nature and human structures. Through vibrant compositions evoking shifting rural light, the exhibition invites reflection on monument building and myth-making, inspiring curiosity and reminding us of our connection to history beneath our feet.
