“Thursday Sept 10 2026 posted on Facebook by Orange County Fire & Rescue

Another blessing for Coldenham Fire-Rescue.

Earlier this evening, Chief Jim Greer and several firefighters from the Walker Valley Chemical Engine Company No. 1 delivered their Mack Tanker to the Coldenham FD. The firefighters from Walker Valley graciously offered to loan us this much needed tanker. Most of Coldenham’s protection area does not have hydrants, and the additional 2,500 gallons of water carried by this tanker is essential to initial response firefighting operations. The addition of this tanker now brings Coldenham’s available fleet to four; 2 engines, 1 tanker and 1 utility vehicle.

Thank you Chief Greer, the Walker Valley firefighters and the Walker Valley community! God bless you all.”

For those who do not know, the Coldenham firehouse was severely damaged by a fire in July and they lost vehicles and equipment. The structure was also heavily damaged but the firemen are still on the job 24/7/365 with the help of neighboring fire companies. God speed for a quick full recovery!
