Allen D. Burnett, of the Town of Newburgh, entered into rest on Friday, October 9, 2026. He was 58.
Son of the late Allen D. and Evelyn (Shultis) Burnett, he was born August 17, 1968 in Goshen, NY.
Allen a lifelong area resident was a Foreman for Eastern Alloys Inc., Montgomery, NY. He enjoyed his Harley Davison Motor Cycle, camping and the game Elder Scrolls. He was very handy and could fix anything. And loved the family cabin in the Catskills.
Survivors include a son, Alex W. Burnett of the Town of Newburgh, NY; three sisters, Elizabeth (Neil) Doyle of Holly Ridge, NC, Margaret (Ted) Mija also of Holly Ridge, NC and Alison (John) Wright of Pine Bush, NY; nieces and nephews Alicia Burnett, John (Rosemarie) Wright, Jr., Allen Wright, and Lee (Kayce) Wright.
Private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Cremator
A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 30 Goshen Avenue Washingtonville, NY 10992.
