HHNC is excited to welcome children entering grades K–3 to this engaging drop-off program focused on the incredible wildlife of the Hudson Highlands. During each unique session, a different animal will be highlighted and celebrated, giving children the opportunity to meet these amazing creatures up close.Participants will explore the Hall of Animals & Gallery, enjoy outdoor nature play, and take part in guided hikes and hands-on activities led by Nature Educators. The Hall of Animals at the Wildlife Education Campus is home to many animals native to local woods, fields, ponds, and rivers, including rabbits, turtles, frogs, toads, salamanders, snakes, fish, and owls — along with crowd favorite Edgar, the resident crow who says “hello!”
