Interior renovations to the Town of Newburgh Town Justice Court will soon become a reality as the project has been authorized to go out to bid.
The project calls for removing existing wood finishes and installing new finished plywood panels and trim around areas including the judge’s bench, jury box, witness stand and court report station. The work will also include new vinyl wall covering, painting and finishing.
Bid documents are expected to become available Sept. 1, with a pre-bidding meeting Sept. 16, with bids scheduled to open on Oct. 1.
