Hello New Windsor. The Town of New Windsor Recreation Department is accepting applications for Summer Camp Counselors, Concession Stand Workers, and Field Crew for Town of New Windsor Residents ages 16 and over.
Applications can be picked up and dropped off at the Recreation Department Office at 244 Union Avenue Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. If hired this could be the first job for many of the applicants. I couldn’t think of a better first job than working in Recreation especially as a summer camp counselor getting to work with kids.
Many of my former employees have gone on to having amazing careers in law enforcement, the military, in business, and many other careers. I like to think that I had a part in their development teaching them about responsibility, hard work, teamwork etc.

Town Supervisor George J. Meyers is pleased to announce that the Town of New Windsor is opening the Marasco Senior Center as of Monday April 5 at 9 a.m. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Social distancing will take place and all CDC Guidelines will be followed. Exercise classes will be held outside like they were in the fall at Kristi Babcock Memorial Park.

Registration is ongoing for the Town of New Windsor Summer Camp Program which is a weekly program from July 5 - August 13 for ages 3-15.
Camp locations are at the Community Center at Town Hall Complex for ages 3-5, and at Kristi Babcock Memorial Park and Ruscitti Park for ages 6-12 for camp and for ages 13-15 for the Counselor In Training Program.
