Theresa Frank, 75, passed away on August 29, 2026, after a long and difficult battle with emphysema. She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and will miss her every day.
Theresa was born in the Bronx on July 1, 1951, to Mario and Agnes Lucarelli. She had a strong personality and could be a little rough around the edges—in the best possible way. She spoke her mind, had her own way of doing things, and had a toughness and honesty that those who knew her will always remember. Above all, Theresa was a dedicated wife and mother who always put others before herself. She devoted her life to her family and was happiest when the people she loved were happy and cared for, and she worked hard to make that happen. She loved family time at the beach and the beauty of the ocean. She was a devoted NASCAR fan and proudly cheered for her favorite driver, Jimmie Johnson. And then there were Pogo and Piper, her beloved dogs and faithful companions, who brought her companionship, laughter, and countless special moments.
Theresa will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Her family will carry her memory through the stories, laughter, and countless moments they shared, and they will always be grateful for the love, sacrifices, and devotion she gave to her family.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Frank; her son, John Ternay, and his wife, Cassandra; her grandson, Zachary; her sister, Marguerite Demers; her brother, Mario Lucarelli, and his wife, Mary Anne; her nieces, Diane and Heather; and her nephew, Christopher.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Humane Society of Walden, 2489 Albany Post Road, Walden, New York 12586.
