The Hudson Valley Rail Trail will present “Tales on the Trail” from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Hudson Valley Rail Trail Pavilion, 101 New Paltz Road, Highland.

Professional storyteller Jonathan Heiles will tell spooky stories, while Highland High School senior and theater student Manny Decena and others will read selected ghost stories.

The event will be held rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair and gather around the fire pit. Apples, hot apple cider and apple cider doughnuts will be available from Minard Farms. Donations are welcome.
