Three films from Newburgh Free Academy students will be featured in The Feedback Corner, a local film festival being held Oct. 7 at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center in Chester.

The festival, organized by EC Media, gives filmmakers, students and emerging storytellers an opportunity to showcase their work and receive feedback aimed at helping them develop their craft.

NFA seniors Anisa “Nis” Abdul-Khabir, Rose Espinoza and Geovani “Geo” Angel are students in Guy Du Quesnay’s video production program. Their entries in the festival are Abdul-Khabir’s “Alone” and Espinoza and Angel’s “Voicemail.”

Senior Sydney Phillips, who interned with Du Quesnay last year while attending West Street, will also have her film, “Not Out Of The Woods,” featured in the festival.

Registration to attend is free.
