Newburgh EMS announces EMT training course

Town of Newburgh Emergency Medical Services will offer a New York state-approved emergency medical technician course beginning Sept. 16.

The course, approved as NYS EMT Course No. 277012, will provide participants with the skills and knowledge needed to become certified EMTs. Classes are tentatively scheduled for Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 17.

The course will be held at Town of Newburgh EMS, 97 S. Plank Road, Newburgh, in conjunction with Orange County EMS.

The nonrefundable registration fee is $100, and tuition is $850. Registration will be completed through Orange County EMS. Final course dates and registration information will be announced.
