On October 8, 2026, the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation Ellenville arrested Austin Irwin, age 28, of Esopus, on charges of sexual misconduct with a minor.

Irwin was charged with Sexual Misconduct, a class A misdemeanor.

The investigation that began on August 6, 2026, determined that Irwin engaged in sexual activity with an underage female.

Irwin was arrested and processed at SP Kingston without incident. He was then arraigned at Ulster County Centralized Arraignment Part where he was ordered held at the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail, $10,000 Bond or $20,000 partially secured bond.
