The Marlborough Arts Coalition is inviting residents and visitors to explore Marlborough and Milton through the second annual Apple Parade, a public art installation featuring 16 apple sculptures created and decorated by local artists.
The sculptures are on display at locations throughout the community during the fall, with each apple painted or otherwise embellished to reflect the creativity of its artist.
The Apple Parade celebrates Marlborough’s agricultural heritage, with the apple serving as a symbol of the community as a source of physical and spiritual nourishment.

Half of the proceeds from each auctioned apple will go to the artist, while 25% will be donated to a charity selected by the artist and the remaining 25% will reimburse the Marlborough Arts Coalition, known as MaArCo, for project costs.
Advance sales also are available for $600, with pickup scheduled for the fall.
The Apple Parade will conclude with an Apple Gala Celebration and Closing Reception from 2 to 5 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Milton Historic Train Station in Milton Landing Park.
Information about the Apple Parade, including a map showing the locations of the sculptures and instructions for bidding in the silent auction, is available at MaArCo.org/apple-parade.
The website also includes information about sponsorships and donations. Sponsorships are available at three levels: Bronze, $100; Silver, $200; and Gold, $300. Donations of any amount are welcome. Donors contributing $100 or more can have a name, business or dedication included on an accompanying plaque.
The event is made possible through sponsors and donors, including the Town of Marlborough, Marlborough Milton Lions Club, Stewart’s Shops, Woodstock School of Art, Eclectique Industries and local individuals and businesses.
MaArCo also thanked Veronica Evanega, Kurt Houben and Eclectique Industries for their work fabricating this year’s apple sculptures.
The inaugural Apple Parade was held in 2025 and was described by MaArCo as Marlborough’s first historic public art installation. A commemorative book, “2025 Inaugural Apple Parade in Photos,” documents last year’s event and is available for $25 through Amazon.
The Apple Parade is designed to bring public art into the community while supporting local artists, charitable organizations and the local community.
