Helen Bunt for supervisor

Posted

Helen Bunt understands that Cornwall faces real financial challenges, including debt that must be addressed responsibly. She will bring transparency, sound business judgment, and a willingness to make smart decisions—not decisions driven by politics or personalities.

Helen won’t exclude residents simply because they disagree with her. She will listen, consider different viewpoints, and then make the decisions a supervisor is elected to make.

Cornwall doesn’t need leadership that divides people into insiders and outsiders. We need leadership that brings people into the conversation, is honest about our challenges, manages our finances responsibly, and makes decisions based on what is best for Cornwall.

I don’t expect everyone to agree with me, and I certainly don’t expect everyone to agree with Helen. Disagreement is part of a healthy community.

What I do hope is that everyone gives Helen the opportunity to be heard directly, rather than judged by what someone else says about her.

So before you make up your mind, have a conversation with her. Attend the many meet and greets. Ask questions. Listen. Then make your own decision. We’re neighbors. We’re part of the same community. And regardless of how any of us ultimately vote, I hope we can continue to treat one another with the respect and kindness that makes Cornwall such a special place to call home.

That’s the kind of Cornwall I want to be part of—and it’s why I support Helen Bunt for supervisor.

With appreciation for our community.
