Weekend of Wallkill starts Sept 17

Get ready for the Weekend of Wallkill coming to the Hamlet of the Wallkill. The weekend’s festivities kick-off Friday evening, September 17 with a Photography and Art Show and Contest, Story Time with Miss Tara and a Harvest Egg Hunt.

The Weekend of Wallkill continues on Saturday September 18 with feature events including a Pirate Show, Touch A Truck, Wallkill Rocks, Pony Rides and Petting Zoo, Child ID and Fingerprinting, Smokehouse and Fire Safety, a Harvest Fair with vendors and local organizations, Quilt Show, Music, Mum Sale, along with contests including fan favorites: Best Dressed Dog Costumer, Floral Centerpiece, Potato Pelling. New this year will be the Ulster County Water Rescue Team & Dive Tank, an Apple Pie Baking contest and a Pirate Scavenger Hunt. Activities will be on or near the Wallkill Library Lawn, Fire House, Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry and Wallkill Reformed Church.
