Madison Stauss had 28 assists and 10 digs, but the Wallkill volleyball team fell in the Mid Hudson Athletic League championship match, 2-1 on Wednesday at Rhinebeck High School.

Genevieve Pollock had 11 kills and 15 digs, and Kaylee DeGroat had 12 kills and 17 digs. Araceli Ospina had eight kills.

Danica Winter has 27 assists and 10 digs for Mount Academy, which won the match 24-26, 25-23, 15-11.

Amy Bommer had 17 kills and 10 digs, and Gina O’Connell had four blocks, four kills and nine digs.
Wallkill won the semifinal match over the New Paltz Huguenots.
