Tribute was paid to Officer Peter “Rick” Wolven.

In presenting Peter’s retirement Shield and identification Chief Herlihy said “I have had the pleasure of working with Officer Wolven as his partner when I was patrolman and as his supervisor after I was promoted to the position of Sergeant.I now have the great honor as Chief of Police, along with the Police Department members in attendance and with the approval of the Mayor of the Village of Walden, along with the Village board members, of presenting Officer Peter Wolven with his retirement Shield and Identification.
