The show will take place at M’Lanie Hunter Dance Studio, 67 Brookside Ave, Chester, NY on Friday, October 23rd at 8pm, Saturday, October 24th at 3pm and 8pm, and Sunday, October 25th at 3pm. “Immersion is the greatest form of inclusion,” says M’Lanie Hunter, U.N.I.T.E.D. 's Founding Director and proud member of the Cherokee Nation. “By shining a light on this story, we are promoting local artists and featuring characters that are rarely dramatized, which dovetails perfectly with U.N.I.T.E.D.’s mission to spotlight unheard voices.” The show features local Equity actors Hunter and Ron Morehead, and well-known local talents Brittany Pierce-Ciaizza, Michael Edan, and Margaret Young.

The purpose of U.N.I.T.E.D. Performing Arts (United Native/Indigenous Theater Endowing Dance) is to create narrative-based performances by inviting Native artists from around the country to the Hudson Valley. Using various styles of performing arts, they endeavor to preserve, promote and protect the rich tapestry of Native heritage. U.N.I.T.E.D.’s annual Native Voices event will take place in November.
