Subdivision granted Town of Wallkill approval

The Town of Wallkill Planning Board has granted conditional final subdivision approval for an 11-Lot Conservation Subdivision along Goshen Turnpike at their meeting, on Jan. 17. All board members present voted in favor of the approval.

While the initial proposal by Hasbrouck Farm LLC was for a 12-lot subdivision of the lands to be developed from detached single-family homes into multi-family dwellings, it was reduced to provide for 11 total lots upon advisement from the board.

After the applicant underwent various revisions, submitted all applicable materials and requirements, the conditional final subdivision approval granted by the planning board was contingent on a list of conditions. Some of the conditions include Hasbrouck Farm LLC obtaining all necessary approvals/permits from outside agencies including the Orand County Dept. of Health and the NY Department of Environmental Conservation, incorporating a note on the Subdivision Plat that prior to commencement of any site work the limits of disturbance should be fenced, marked, flagged, acceptable to the building inspector and developing a stormwater pollution prevention plan.

More details of the conditional final subdivision approval of the Hasbrouck Subdivision granted by the Planning Board can be found in the Town of Wallkill Planning Board Resolution Granting document filed on Jan. 18.

The next Planning Board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. at 99 Tower Dr., Building A, Middletown.
