This year’s Weekend of Wallkill will take place on September 17-18, with a Harvest Egg Hunt kicking off at 6 p.m. Friday night. Saturday’s festivities will open at 10 am with something for everyone. Activities for the children include a Pirate Show, Touch-A-Truck, bouncy house, petting zoo, a Lego building contest, and many more.
The Vision of Wallkill also invite all artists to showcase their masterpieces and enter them in the Beauty of Wallkill Art Contest, crafters and gardeners to enter their creative designs in the Floral Centerpiece Contest, and bakers to whip up their best recipes for the Apple Pie Baking Contest. A silent auction of artwork created by Plein Air students will also take place. Bring your furry friends for the Dog Costume Contest.
All activities will take place on or around the Wallkill Public Library lawn and most are free of charge to the public.
