Robert W. Hancock Jr. of Pine Bush, a longtime resident of the area passed away June 3, 2021, at home. He was 74.
The son of the late Robert and Betty Hancock, he was born November 27, 1946 in New York City.
He was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and longtime attendee of the Freedom Road Bible Church. He was a passionate farmer who loved raising cows.
He served two tours in Vietnam 1968-74, Company C, 34th Engineer Battalion of the Army Corps of Engineers.
Survivors include his wife Barbara at home; son Robert W III and his wife Anne of New Paltz; son Matthew and his wife Jodi of Milford,; four grandchildren Maxwell, Jackson, Evelyn and Raeghan,; brother Charles Hancock and his wife Patricia and nieces, nephews and cousins
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 8, 2021, 10 a.m. at the Freedom Road Bible Church, 850 NY Route 52, Walden.
At the request of the family, we kindly ask that masks or face coverings be worn.
Burial will be in Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen, NY.
