The Pine Bush Bushmen continued to dominate the girls’ field events when Madison Williams won two events and Ella Galloway won the pole vault, leading the Bushmen to a third-place finish at the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association championship track and field meet on Friday and Saturday at Warwick Valley High School.

The Bushmen finished with 86.5 points and the Valley Central Vikings finished ninth with 28 points. Cornwall won the meet with 146 points. The Pine Bush boys’ team was ninth with 38 points and Valley Central finished tied for 15th with Tri-Valley with 13 points. The Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders won the meet with 153 points.

Williams won the long jump, clearing 19-00.25 and Galloway was third in 17-4.75. The jump was a personal best for Williams and a season-best for Galloway. Williams won the triple jump with a season-best jump of 39-4.25 and Mya Riquelme also posted a season best when she jumped 35-5 to finish fourth.

Galloway won the girls’ pole vault, reaching 12-6 and Averie Klein as sixth by clearing 10-6. Galloway was second in the girls’ high jump reaching 5-4 and Williams cleared 4-9 to finish seventh.

Plexico Brooks won the boys’ high jump, reaching 6-4 and Jack Fowler was fourth when he cleared 6-0. He finished eighth in the boys’ triple jump, reaching 40-11.50.

Joshua Dymond won the boys’ discus throw, reaching 40-01 and Harris Blumrath was eighth with a throw of 115.

Valley Central’s Kaelyn Marcano was second in the girls’ discus, reaching 107-5 and sixth in the girls’ shot put with a throw of 31-2.75.

Pine Bush’s Nathan VonDeben was third in the boys’ pole vault, reaching 12-0. Valley Central’s Derek Vincent was sixth in the boys’ triple jump, reaching 41-3.5.

Shaylen Goslar was Pine Bush’s top finisher on the track as she won the girls’ 800-meter run with a time of 2:13.00. Goslar took second in the girls’ 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:41.36.

The girls’ 1,600-meter relay team of Gianna Conklin, Elysia Jackson, Robeanna Fontana and Goslar finished second with a time of 4:05.16.

Valley Central’s 400-meter relay team of Zialyse Moseley, Keily Maldonado, Isabella Dinino and Dayna Scott finished fourth with a time of 49.60.

The Vikings’ 3,200-meter relay team of Sydney Remenar, Emily Frank, Rafaella Del Pilar and Sarah Del Pilar finished eighth in 10:06.15.

Scott was second in the girls’ 100-meter dash in 12.69 seconds. Aaron Frias was sixth in the boys’ 400-meter hurdles in 58.50.
Pine Bush’s Nicholas Burgess finished fourth in the boys’ 200-meter dash in 22.00 seconds.

Gianna Conklin was fourth in the girls’ 400-meter dash in 1:01.01 and Elysia Jackson was eighth in 1:02.51.
Hannah Pawlowski was sixth in the girls’ 3,000-meter run in 10:43.80.

Valley Central’s Caleb Sahlstrom was sixth in the boys’ 3,200-meter run in 9:45.97, and Sarah Del Pilar was seventh in the girls’ 1,500-meter run in 4:52.64.
