Patricia B. Starr (Lubanty), a beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and cherished member of her family, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026, at the age of 79. She was born in Nyack, New York, on July 1, 1947.
Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Clarence “Skeeter” Starr Jr. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Lubanty and was predeceased by her brothers, Walter and Thomas Lubanty.
Patricia will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Clarissa Farrier and her husband, Robert, of Highland Falls, NY; her son, Clarence “Skeeter” Starr III and his fiancée, Michele, of Walden, NY; and her six cherished grandchildren, Bryce, Aidan, Brandon, Gavin, Emma, and Lauren.
Family was at the heart of Patricia’s life. She treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren and took great pride in watching her family grow. Her love, warmth, and devotion to those closest to her will remain in their hearts and memories forever. In addition to her love for her family, Patty loved to bring people together with her cooking and spend time with her friends at the senior center.
Patricia’s life was defined by the love she gave to her family and the special place she held in the lives of those who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Skeeter, her parents, and her brothers.
To honor her wishes there will be no formal service. Please join us for a Celebration of Patty’s life on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 2- 4 p.m. at O’Connor Doyle American Legion Hall at 134 Old State Road, Highland Falls, NY. Light snacks and drinks will be served.
Patricia will be forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
