I did a search in Wikipedia on Hunter Biden and this is part of the response: “...Since the early months of 2019, Hunter Biden and his father have been the subjects of debunked conspiracy theories pushed by U.S. president Donald Trump and his allies concerning Hunter Biden’s business dealings and Joe Biden’s anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine on behalf of the United States during the time he was vice president.”

So I did a search on Google about Hunter Biden’s taxes and there were so many media outlets having detailed stories that I didn’t know how to report how many stories there are. 

Also: ‘In a statement released by the Biden-Harris transition team, Hunter Biden, the president-elect’s son, said Wednesday [Dec. 9] he was recently informed he is under federal investigation over a tax matter.’

So, I am not sure what point a letter writer from your Jan. 14th issue was trying to make. Hunter Biden is having his taxes investigated, not his laptop.
