I keep hearing from Trumpians that I hate him. I believe these Trump loyalists use hatred as some kind of defense mechanism that somehow gives them justification for supporting him. It is quite evident if you find Trump’s conduct reprehensible or criticize him for his despicable actions, his supporters then claim you must hate him. This has nothing to do with hatred but for me, it has to do with what and who is best for our nation. 
   

I want a president who adheres to the rule of law, upholds his constitutional oath of office, cherishes our democracy in which representative government is derived from the electoral will of its citizens, holds in high regard our democratic institutions and puts the well-being of our nation as his highest priority. These tenets make our nation a true Republic. For those who are not Trump cultists, you have seen and read as I have that these tenets are foreign to Trump. He does not hold in high regard any of these tenets. For a Trump democracy, the Constitution and the rule of law are just things that get in his way. To him they are just a nuisance to be ignored or swept away. I know many Americans will agree with me.
