Make your own smudge sticks
Gardiner Library hosts Make Your Own Smudge Sticks with Jessica Williams on Saturday, January 21, 3 - 4 p.m.
Use locally harvested wild artemisia accented by your choice of lavender, rosemary, sage & rose petals. Learn about the ancient practice of smudging and the marvelous herb, mugwort! Cost $10. Registration required on the online calendar at gardinerlibrary.org.
The library is located at 133 Farmer’s Turnpike.


Chinese language series offered in Gardiner
Gardiner Library offers Beginner Chinese Language Class Series for Ages 3-12 with Amy Zaho. Every Sunday starting January 21, 1 - 2 p.m. Learn Chinese vocabulary and numbers through song, books and games.
Amy Zhao’s mother tongue is Chinese and she speaks Mandarin and Cantonese. Amy is certified by the International Profession Certification Association (IPA) as a Chinese language teacher.
No registration, no charge. The library is located at 133 Farmer’s Turnpike in Gardiner.

Gardiner Library hosts an Introduction to Astrology

Learn about the big 3 and why they are important, with Alison Butler on Saturday January 27, 1 - 3 p.m. Explore the astrological archetypes of the zodiac signs and the energy signatures of planets. This course aims to introduce you to the insight astrology provides beyond the typical sun sign horoscopes. Cost: $10 (covers a personalized printed natal chart). Registration required on the online calendar at gardinerlibrary.org.
