Free Senior Resource Day Event in Montgomery Town Hall

The Town of Montgomery Seniors Independence Project Committee is pleased to invite all seniors, caregivers, volunteers, and the general public to the annual Senior Resource Day event. The event will take place on Wednesday, March 29, from 1 - 3 p.m. at Montgomery Town Hall.

This year’s program includes several informative and engaging sessions. Meg Boice, Vice President of Hudson Valley Alzheimer’s Association, will present an update on Alzheimer’s research. Tracy Wager of Orange County Adult Protective Services will provide an update on services for adult protection. Cassandra Eason of Holistic Imaginations will discuss holistic imagination programs and lead a group participation activity. Finally, Sanford Altman, an Elder Law Attorney, will talk about advance directives.

Attendees can also enjoy refreshments and participate in door prize drawings. For those in need of transportation, the Senior Bus will provide pickup service if reservations are made in advance by calling 457-2622.
