Charles F. Quinn of Montgomery, a retired detective for Town of Clarkstown Police Department and a longtime resident of the area passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday March, 8, 2021 at home. He was 71. 

The son of the late Charles G. Quinn and Gloria Foster Quinn, he was born May 14, 1949 in Englewood, NJ.

His greatest joys in life were his wife, children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Penny at home; children: Charles R. Quinn (Margaret), Brian K. Quinn (Denise), Jeanne Marie Rechtorovic (Edward)

Karen Quinn (Thomas), Kevin M. Quinn (Kelly), Alison Boyce (Seamus) and Michael C. Quinn (Amy); 23 grandchildren; siblings: Gail Quinn, Dianne Geiler (Joseph), Jacqueline Rossi, John Quinn (Barbara), Thomas Quinn (Patricia), James Quinn (Deborah), Mary Eileen Hannon (Paul), brother-in-Law Leroy Harris and 39 Nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Brian W. Quinn, sister Maureen Harris, Granddaughter Erin Quinn and brother in law Richard Rossi

Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. on Sunday March 14, 2021 at the Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St. Walden.

In lieu of flowers it is requested that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis Tn 38105 or Holy Name of Mary Church 89 Union St., Montgomery, NY 12549 in Charlie’s memory. 

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Montgomery.
