On Sunday, October 4 at 2:00 pm, the Class of 1936 Distinguished Organists Recital Series endowment and the West Point Cadet Chapel will Dr. Carol Williams, international concert organist. Dr. Carol Williams serves as the Hull City Hall Organist (UK) and is the San Diego Civic Organist Emerita, while maintaining a career as internationally acclaimed performer, composer, and recording artist. A Royal Academy of Music alumna, she has toured over eighteen countries, appeared with major orchestras,
released 23 recordings, and champions charitable causes through her music. Her program will be performed on the Cadet Chapel organ, the world’s largest all-pipe instrument in a house of worship, numbering over 23,500 pipes!
Entry on post is with Real ID or Enhanced Driver’s License. Otherwise, another form of proof of citizenship is required including passport or other identification. Obtaining the entry pass is from the Visitor Control Center, 2107 New South Post Road, West Point, NY 10996. Annual passes are available for those who wish to attend multiple recitals and events. Parking is available near the chapel (722 DeRussy Road), and the Class of 1936 recitals are free to the community and general public.
