Valentine’s event benefits VC all-night grad party
Valley Central High School’s Class of 2024 invites you to join us for a Valentine’s Party on Friday, February 9, from 7 to 11 p.m. at The Country Club at Otterkill, located at 100 Otter Road, Campbell Hall.

This special event is organized to support the All Night Grad Party for the graduating Class of 2024. The All Night Grad Party is an annual tradition that provides a safe and enjoyable environment for graduating seniors to celebrate their achievements together.

Highlights of the Valentine’s Party include:
• DJ and Photobooth by E Rock Entertainment

• Heavy Hors D’oeuvres and Stations

This celebration is open to individuals aged 21 and older, and tickets start at $55 per person. Tickets can be purchased on the event website at otterkillevents.square.site.

Gardiner Library to host Jedi Star Force Academy
Gardiner Library hosts Jedi Star Force Academy with David Engle on Saturday February 10, 1 - 2 p.m. Geared towards ages 4-12. Come learn the ways of these far-flung warriors with Panniken Moonjumper, a true Master of Intergalactic fun and adventure.

Star Wars costumes encouraged. All are welcome. No charge and no registration required. Made possible by a Fairgame Arts Grant. More information is available on the online calendar at gardinerlibrary.org. The library is located at 133 Farmer’s Turnpike in Gardiner.

Maybrook VFW to host Valentine’s Dinner Dance
The Maybrook VFW is hosting a pre-St. Valentine’s Day Dinner Dance on Saturday, February 10, 6 - 10 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 209 Main Street.

The menu includes a small shrimp cup, small salad, strip steak, roasted potatoes, vegetables, bread and butter and assorted desserts.

Admission is $35 per couple or $20 single in advance or $25 at the door. You can get a free flower for your loved one if you pay by February 4.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Pine Bush Library
Come to the Pine Bush Library on Wednesday, February 14 for a Valentine’s Day get-together!

Snacks and cold/hot beverages will be served from 1 - 3 p.m. Bring your honey and come out to enjoy an afternoon with old and new friends!

Vision of Wallkill hosts upcoming events

The Vision of Wallkill has been busy searching for unique workshops to offer this winter. Coming up, Saturday, February 17 brings beads. Join Vicki Hutt who will instruct participants from 10 years and up. The goal is a beautiful, one of a kind spiral memory-beaded bracelet.

On Saturday, March 3, we will present Dr. Amy Coopersmith who created a puppet video program to help children build self-determination.( Check out CaptainMe on Facebook or her website) Both adult and child under the age of ten will participate.

On Saturday, March 16, we bring you a note card workshop. Donna Ewing will show and demonstrate different types of collage work to create several personally-crafted cards for the spring, for Easter, for Passover, Mothers’ Day or your personal favorite.

All workshops will take place in the Community Room at Town Hall in the hamlet of Wallkill from 1 - 3 p.m. The prices vary for each workshop. Call Adrienne at (917) 656-7945 for more information or to reserve a spot. OR you can go to the Vision of Wallkill website and get an application.


Maybrook VFW presents ‘Friday Nite Live’
The Maybrook Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) announces the return of “Friday Nite Live,” an evening filled with live music, camaraderie, and support for our esteemed veterans. The event is scheduled for Friday, February 23, 6 - 10 p.m. at the Maybrook VFW located at 209 Main Street, Maybrook.

This lively event will feature a dynamic musical performance by Dave & Rich, promising an unforgettable night of entertainment. Attendees can enjoy the music, unwind with friends, and take advantage of the cash bar available throughout the evening.

Tickets for “Friday Nite Live” are priced at $10 in advance and $15 at the door.

Funny For Funds and Crispell PTO join forces for a night of laughter
Brace yourself for an evening of uproarious entertainment as Funny For Funds, in collaboration with Crispell Middle School PTO, proudly presents “Comedy for Crispell.” This side-splitting comedy fundraiser, hosted by It Ain’t Easy Comedy with Larry DiGregorio, promises an unforgettable night of laughter and camaraderie, all in support of Crispell Middle School PTO.

The event is scheduled for March 1, at the Pine Bush Senior/Community Center, located at 115 Route 302, Pine Bush. Doors will swing open at 7 p.m., and the laughter-filled spectacle is set to kick off promptly at 8 p.m.

This stellar comedy lineup features top-notch local comedians who are sure to tickle your funny bone while contributing to a great cause. Tickets for the event are priced at $40 each and can be conveniently purchased by emailing crispellpto@gmail.com.
