In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presentation Sisters and associates partnered with Habitat for Humanity to address the needs of women and children, especially as they are impacted by economic, environmental, and racial inequity. They gathered on Martin Luther King Day in the Kimball building of Habitat for Humanity to paint siding planks for four houses on South Street in Newburgh. Noelle, Justin, Alessandra, Frank, Sister Mary Catherine, and Sister Laura enjoyed painting and sharing with other volunteers.

They finished their day of service with pizza and prayer, at the home of Sisters Anne Ryan and Eileen Matthews.

The Fil-Am CATHOLIC Community of Hudson Valley invites you to join them at The National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on Saturday, January 27, at 5:30 p.m., as they celebrate a Santo Nino Mass with their Filipino Community! Fr. Von Erick Maria Sandoval, O. Carm will be the presider.

Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is 5:30 p.m. Please bring your Sto Nino images and statues to be blessed at Mass.

At 7 p.m., there will be a coffee and snacks reception at Pilgrim Hall; please bring desert to share.
