February is the month of Valentines and most importantly, it is American Heart Month singing loudly and clearly, “You’ve gotta have heart!” Seriously, we really do need to understand that in this fast-paced world, change is mandatory and believe it or not, stress is a huge contributor to our inner tranquility and the well-being of our bodies.

A heart-healthy life style can turn your life around and actually save your life. Sadly, we all know the shocking statistics of death from heart disease, and it affects all ages, genders, and ethnicities. How about making a Valentine’s Day resolution to someone you love with the promise, to have a healthy diet, proper rest and exercise, and always have “miles and miles and miles of heart.” (“You Gotta Have Heart” from Damn Yankees).

Happy Birthday wishes to Bruce J. Lubkeman, “Gentleman Extraordinaire,” from his beloved wife, Cynthia, as he celebrates his special day, February 20, surrounded in the love of his beautiful children, Lisa, David, Danielle, Diane, Douglas, and Laura, and all his precious grandchildren. More loved than Bruce, no husband, father, or grandpa could ever be. Devout Christians and patriotic and dedicated Americans, Bruce and Cindy are star role models, for this much younger generation growing up amidst seriously challenging and chaotic times in our history. God bless this holy family that lives in the spirit of joy and graciously shares the love of God shining from their hearts, they warm the soul!
