It’s ALMOST PARADE DAY!! On Saturday, March 23rd our Parade will kick off at 1pm rain or shine.

Village residents, please be prepared for road closures during the time of the parade from about 12:00-2:00 p.m. For those of you who are marching with us, parade line up begins at 11 am. Please be sure to be at the line up at Montgomery Elementary School no later than 12 p.m.
Can’t wait to see everyone!

News from the Montgomery Free Library. Currently the Friends of the Library are having  Spring Wreath auction fundraiser. Stop by and see at least 10 offerings to brighten up your walls and doors. Be ready to bid as it ends on March 25. 

Also don’t forget the annual Spring Tea fundraiser scheduled for May 19. 

Fish Fry Friday is back.  On  March 22, come to The Holy Name of Mary-Assumption Church Hall and enjoy a delicious dinner hosted by the Knight of Columbus #2270. It is from 5 - 7 p.m.

A Good Friday Blood Drive will take place on March 29 at the Church Hall from 1:30 - 7:30 p.m.

A  60th reunion is in the works. The Valley Central High School class of 1964 is planning to hold a one day reunion on September 6. Tell your family and friends. It will be held at the Spruce Lodge. Contact Jane Hoeffner. 

The Valley Central High School PTSA announces that the staff from the School District will take on the Harlem Wizards on Tuesday April 2. The game starts at 7 p.m., doors open at 6 p.m. Buy your tickets now pretix.eu/harlemwizards/montgomeryny04-02-24.

Grab your gal pals for a fun afternoon at a Designer Bag Bingo. It will be on Saturday April 13 at the Montgomery Senior Center. Doors open at 4 p.m., calling starts at 6 p.m. Must pre-register on-line only, donation for a ticket is $40, or reserve a table of 8 for $320. Go to vcsc1964.com/event-designer-bag-bingo.

The Town of Montgomery will be hosting a Blood Drive at the Town Hall, 110 Bracken Rd. on Tuesday April 23 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Appointments must be scheduled thru the Red Cross. All blood types are needed. Please call 1-800-REDCROSS. or go to redcrossblood.org.

Also there will be a Blood Drive on Tuesday, April 2. It will be  from 1 to 7 p.m. at Granite Barbell  3020 Rt. 207 Campbell Hall. Appointments are encouraged. Call 800-933-BLOOD or go to nybc.org.  

Six Week Ballroom Dance Lessons will be offered at a  cost is $90 per person for six weeks.  Starts on Monday April 1 and there needs to be a minimum of ten people signed up. Contact the Montgomery Senior Center. 457-9367. Great fun and exercise for all.

The Montgomery Senior Center Bowling League  will meet every Tuesday at Tarsio Lanes Newburgh NY.  Cost is $1.00 a game plus shoe rental. This starts on Tuesday March 12. 

Hudson Valley St. Baldrick’s announces an upcoming fundraising event. Join them on April 19 at Lolly’s Airport Inn,  247 Union St. (Rt. 211) starting at 8 p.m., $10 donation at the door.  It will be Millennium Night with DJ Mike G. with music from the late 90’s early 2000’s. There will be a 50/50 and all proceeds will benefit St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
