Plans unveiled for Vanwinkle Site

Posted

The New Windsor Planning Board requested the project known as “Vanwinkle Site Plan and Special Use Permit” be presented at a followup meeting in the new year with updated site plans.

During last week’s meeting, plans were presented with an updated handicap parking spot that must be submitted to the planning board office prior to approval.

The proposed project, located at 127 John Street, seeks the conversion of two existing buildings into bulk storage/warehouse facilities. One building was identified as 2,502 square feet and the other as 3,884 square feet. The existing sites are permitted within the planned industrial zoning district and required a public hearing for the special use permit. No comments were given on the project from the public.
