Newburgh City Council approved the execution of an agreement with Linstar, INC. at a cost of $8,603.41 for new identification card equipment of the city. Each of the cards for the varying departments will each be designed differently but will be under a more standardized uniform system.
This resolution was presented by City of Newburgh Information Systems Manager Nicholas Crispino who said that the new ID cards will be for city employees, the fire department and police department. The cards and overall system are outdated and need to be updated, according to Crispino.
