The Town of Newburgh Board approved the usage of Monarch Woods as a senior housing development but will need to review the outside user agreement for sewer service for the development.
The project is a proposed 102 new residential senior housing apartments to be built in a section of wooded area at the intersection of Route 52 and Monarch Drive. John Cappello, a partner at J&G Law, LLP and Ross Winglovitz, representative of Engineering & Surveying Properties [ESP], PC appeared before the town board on behalf of the project. Cappello shared that with these approvals when passed, construction would be anticipated to begin in late spring.
