Juliana Juras won two events for the girls and Dan Maher won one as the Marlboro Iron Dukes finished fifth in the girls’ meet with 55.5 points and the boys’ finished sixth with 54.75 points at the Mid Hudson Athletic League track and field championships on Thursday at Rondout Valley High School in Accord.

The Highland Huskies were 11th in the boys’ meet with 21.5 points and 13th in the girls’ meet with five points. The FDR Presidents were both boys’ and girls’ champions.

Juras and Victoria Maher went first and second in the girls’ discus throw. Juras reached 123-02 and Maher reached 119-06. Juras also won the girls’ shot put, reaching 36-03.50 and Amelia Doddo was seventh, reaching 28-08.50.

Maher won the boys’ 200-meter dash with a personal record of 22.95 and was third in the 100-meter dash in 11.61. Highland’s Maddox Thibault-Edmonds was seventh in the 100-meter dash in 11.96. He also was fifth in the 200 meters with a time of 23.78.

Jaiden Sawyer was second in the boys’ 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.30 seconds. He was third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.90

The Dukes were second in the boys’ and girls’ 400-meter relays with respective times of 44.79 seconds and 53.70.

Timber Jackson was second in the girls’ pole vault, reaching 8-0 and Eliana Beaulieu was fifth, clearing 6-6.
Nnadozie Okasi was second in the boys’ triple jump, reaching 42-02.50, and was third in the boys’ long jump, reaching 20-01.00.

Highland’s Josh Bishop was fourth in the boys’ high jump, reaching 5-6.
Fallon Grace was fifth in the girls’ 200-meter dash with a time of 28.09, a personal record.

Makai Broughton was sixth in the boys’ pole vault, clearing 8-0 and was eighth in the boys’ high jump, clearing 5-0.

Andrea Kuha was seventh in the girls’ 2,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:45.24.

Highland’s Scarlett Lovell was eighth in the girls’ 400-mer dash in 1:05.64.
Highland was fourth in the boys’ 400-meter relay in 45.27 seconds and seventh in the boys’ 1,600-meter relay.

The Huskies were fifth in the girls’ 3,200-meter relay with a season-best time of 11:14.85.
