Josh Johnson won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 50.23, leading the Marlboro Dukes to a sixth-place finish at the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association Division I championships on Saturday at the Newburgh Free Academy Natatorium.
The Dukes finished with 165.5 points. The Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks won the meet with 400 points.
Johnson also teamed with Ayden Baxter, Finn Wakely and Chris Felker to win the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:39.17, dropping more than 22 seconds off their previous best time.
Johnson also was second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:44.56, dropping nearly 3.5 seconds off his previous best time.
Baxter was fourth in the 100-yard backstroke in 57.04 seconds.
The 200-yard individual medley team of Baxter, Chris Felker, Johnson and Finn Wakely finished fifth, and their second team – comprised of Peter LoPresti, Caleb Corrado, Aydyn Sanchez and Hunter Sanchez finished 16th.
Felker was 13th in the 100-yard butterfly and Aydyn Sanchez was 16th. Felker also was 12th in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Their second 200-yard freestyle relay team of Peter Loscerbo, LoPresti, Aydyn Sanchez and Hunter Sanchez finished ninth.
