Hudson Valley Humanists December celebration, HumanLight

The December 2019 monthly meeting of the Hudson Valley Humanists will be held at the New Paltz Community Center on Sunday, December 15th.  It will start at 7 pm in the community center is at 3 Veterans Way, New Paltz, off Route 32 north of the village and Stewart’s. 

Our annual HumanLight potluck dinner and celebration of humanist ideals will include songs and a celebration of the humanist ideals and values: Reason, Compassion, Hope and Humanity.   

Hudson Valley Humanists will be collecting toiletries and other necessities for Family of New Paltz.

Humanist beliefs lead to a philosophy that stresses the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasizes common human needs, and seeks solely rational ways of solving human problems.

This meeting is free and open to the public. All are welcome. Any changes in date (weather problem) or time will be on MeetUp.  For more information, email auer1@att.net .
