Fairytale comes to life in Highland

Fairy tales came to life on Nov. 21 in Highland when Elsa and Anna of Disney’s Frozen paid a visit.
The magical afternoon was a collaboration among Carrie Decker, founder of Crazy Over Art on Tour, Pamela Edmonds of Starlight Studios of New Paltz and Renae Martin, owner of Lilly Rae in the Hamlet. A portion of the proceeds from the fairytale visit went to Crazy Over Art on Tour, a mobile art van that provides a creative environment to encourage and teach art to local communities with limited access to the arts. The organization aims to promote self-awareness, imagination, hands-on and visual experiences and to expand opportunities within the public.
Carrie and Pamela, who provided the two family tale princesses for the occasion, were first paired at a Walkway Over the Hudson event earlier this year.Lillie Rae in the Hamlet hosted the event, with Renae providing gifts.
