Contracts OK’d for New Windsor CSEA and PBA

After several months of negotiations, the Town of New Windsor Board voted 4-1 to approve the execution of the memorandum of agreement and collective bargaining agreements between for the CSEA, Local 1000 AFSCME, AFL-CIO and the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association of New Windsor, (PBA) on Wednesday, February 7.  

The contract is retroactive to January 1, 2024 and will expire on December 31, 2026. The PBA counteract is retroactive to Jan. 1, 2024 and expires on December 31, 2027. The documents are publicly available on the town website for further information and review. 

Town Supervisor Stpehen Bedetti expressed his gratitude for Town Comptroller Doreen Casey, Town Paralegal Jessica Marina and Town Attorney David Zagon for their work with negotiations and preparing the contracts.
