Chamber Music with Inbal Segev and Juho Pohjonen

Inbal Segev’s playing is “characterized by a strong and warm tone . . . delivered with impressive fluency and style” (The Strad); and “first class,” and “richly inspired” (Gramophone). Segev brings interpretations that are both unreservedly natural and insightful to the vast range of music she performs.

Finnish pianist Juho Pohjonen returns to our series, this time in partnership with Inbal Segev. Mr. Pohjonen is one of today’s most exciting and vibrant instrumentalists, performing widely in Europe, Asia, and North America, with symphony orchestras, in recital, and in chamber music settings.

This program includes sonatas for cello and piano by Bach, Beethoven, and Grieg as well as a world premiere of Timo Andres’ piece, Agita.
