The grand opening for the highly anticipated Resorts World Hudson Valley, New York State’s newest casino will be held on Wednesday, December 28 at 10 a.m. at the Newburgh Mall.
The casino located in the mall has been under construction for several months in hopes of opening its doors this coming fall season. The casino will feature 50,000 square feet of gaming and hospitality space. 1,200 slot machines, electronic table games and the Resorts World Bet Sports Bar are also to be included in the space. In other parts of the mall, floors have been redone and Resorts World has established several office spaces for administrative work. The casino is set to bring in 250 new full-time jobs with annual wage that includes salary and benefits of $72,000. $65 million in taxes is to be contributed to support the state’s public schools.
