Spring is upon us and it is time to grow! Grow what, you ask? Well, grow your creativity!

The Hudson Valley Collective of the American Society for Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama hosts An Evening of Art and Action Methods on Friday, March 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Boughton Place, 150 Kisor Road Highland.

This evening will be focusing on how to expand ourselves as creative beings. Using creative arts expression, in including psychodrama, we will foster our intuition and tap into our creativity. What makes you feel creative? Where does your creativity come from? How does creativity relate to daily life? How can you enhance it? No art skill needed, this is for everyone!

Open sessions are two to two and a half hour psychodrama sessions offered by certified psychodramatists to the general public. You may participate as little or as much as you want.

Linda Iannacone MA, ATR-BC, is an advanced student at Hudson Valley Psychodrama Institute with over fifteen years of training in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy. She has been facilitating arts groups for over 30 years, working in public schools, community centers, and mental health institutions. Linda is a nationally registered Board Certified art therapist, working currently at an inpatient psychiatric hospital and in private practice. She has developed an approach that integrates art therapy with mindfulness, expressive arts, and psychodrama methods.

Recommended contribution: $10 - $20
