Friends and family gathered on Wallace Avenue, Maybrook, Saturday for a belated 90th birthday celebration for lifelong resident Karl Heller.

Heller actually turned 90 on December 11, 2021, but because of COVID, the family was unable to celebrate then. His three children, all seven of his grandchildren and 14 out of 16 great grandchildren came from Texas, Florida, Tennessee, New Hampshire, Maine and New Jersey for the celebration. Highlights of the party also included a 21-gun salute from the Maybrook VFW and a drive-by greeting from the Maybrook Fire Department.
