Let me count the ways Elon Musk, an unelected official in Trump’s administration, created havoc:

He destroyed food safety programs and as a result lettuce, granola, blueberries and pet food are rife with harmful bacteria and parasites.

He fired 3,400 US forest service workers and hollowed out funding for firefighters to the tune of $3 billion. As a result, a state like Montana, prone to wildfires, had 63% fewer acres treated against the possibility of such fires.

Musk gutted NOAA and the National Weather Service, leaving communities with no advance warnings of flash floods and tornadoes.

And let’s not omit the unelected Stephen Miller who directs ICE to push for 1000s of daily arrests. So far Miller has caused over 6,200 children to be detained, some ending up in ICE prisons known for their violent treatment and ghastly living conditions.

Let me also count the ways the Republican dominated Congress has slavishly implemented Trump’s plans to deprive Americans of food stamps, health insurance, rural hospitals, decent education and infrastructure. They, too, have succeeded in creating havoc.
