Marlborough Arts Coalition / MaArCo thanks the Southern Ulster Times for sharing the details of our Second Annual Apple Parade in Marlborough in the October 8 edition. We have a few event updates to share since the story was published, along with information on our Fifth Annual Art At The Landing exhibition.
The times for the Apple Gala Celebration and Closing Reception on November 1 have changed to 12–3 p.m., from the originally stated 3–5 p.m., and the Marlborough Police Department is a sponsor of the Apple Parade.
MaArCo’s Fifth Annual Art At The Landing Members Show will run from Tuesday, October 27 through Sunday, November 1, at the Milton Historic Train Station, 41 Dock Road, Milton, NY 12547.
This year’s event will feature small works by artists Cori Appler, Harriet Forman Barrett, Erin Baxter, Heather Brown, Joseph Caserto, Jennie Duke, Max Evanega, Veronica Evanega, Ardis Ketterer, Mary Lyons, Michael Pilon, Craig Shankles, Lesli Uribe, Jerry Wein, and Elena Yess.
Gallery hours are:
• Tuesday, October 27, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
• Wednesday, October 28, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
• Thursday, October 29, 2 p.m.–5 p.m.
• Friday, October 30, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
• Saturday, October 31, 2 p.m.–5 p.m.
• Sunday, November 1, Apple Parade Gala and Closing Reception, 12–3 p.m.
MaArCo thanks the Town of Marlborough for waiving the Train Station fee for these events and for their support.
We appreciate the Southern Ulster Times’ coverage of the Apple Parade and the community’s support of us and our programming. We are proud to bring the Apple Parade back to Marlborough this year after last year’s installation won the Arts Mid-Hudson 14th Annual Ulster County Executive’s Arts Awards for Art in Public Places, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to Art At The Landing.
