Susan D. Sledzianowski, of Bloomingburg, entered into rest on Sunday, July 12, 2026. She was 68.
Daughter of the late Albert D. and Alice E. (Warner) Weightman, she was born February 25, 1958 in Nyack, NY.
A retired self employed housekeeper in Newburgh. Susan was a lifelong area resident, coming from the Town of Newburgh. A woman of faith she was devoted to her family. She enjoyed cooking, especially passing down her recipes to others. Susan was a big sports fan, which started while her son was growing up and playing games. Her favorite teams later became the N.Y. Mets, Giants and Knicks.
Survivors include her son, Daniel A. Sledzianowski and his wife, Candy of Bloomingburg, NY; two daughters, Erica Lazzara of Walden, NY and Sara Rankin and her husband Chris of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Hailey, Nicholas, Noah, Aiden, Madison and Jackson; many brother and sister in laws, and nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends, Helen and Ted Ielardi.
In addition to her parents, and her husband Stephen A. Sledzianowski in 2025, she was predeceased by a grandchild Michaela, and two sisters, Allison Lander and Patricia Hunt.
Donations in Susan’s memory can be made to an animal charity of your choice.
Private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory.
Plans for a Celebration of Susan’s life will be announced at a later date.
